Dr Hillel New

As CDIC’s leading dentist, Dr Hillel New has been providing patients with exceptional dental care for over 32 years. Dr New was one of Australia’s first dentists formally trained to deliver All On 4 dental implants, and has decades of experience performing every type of dental implant procedure. He has built a vast reputation for providing quality, pain-free treatments in both cosmetic and implant dentistry, and is often called upon for his expertise in identifying and troubleshooting problems with dental implants.

His dental treatment philosophy centres around a commitment to evidence-based dentistry, and he believes in effective communication as the key to treatment success and positive long-term relationships with his patients.

Tanja

Dental Hygienist

Tanja has enjoyed over 25 years working in the Dental Industry, originally educated and trained in her home country – Germany. In 2008 Tanja obtained her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in South Australia, where she was awarded the prestigious “Golden Scaler Award” for exceptional talent and clinical skills. She has since worked in Melbourne across different sectors in Dentistry including being a clinical tutor at Melbourne University, but her passion and focus remains in periodontal care and preventative oral health. Tanja is dedicated to continual improvement and is registered with the Australian Health and Practitioner Regulations Agency and is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association.

Tammy

Practice Coordinator

Tammy is our Practice Coordinator, who brings with her a wealth of experience across the dental industry and is committed to ensuring all our patients needs are attended to. Tammy understands the impact a positive practice culture has on patient experiences. She thrives to ensure professional, caring, and enjoyable experiences for our team and patients alike. Outside of work, Tammy loves spending time with her son and partner, keeping an active lifestyle, and travelling back to the beautiful Western Australian coast to see visit her family.

Sophie

Senior Surgical Assistant

Sophie is a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant. Having spent the past 5 years assisting in general and surgical dentistry, Sophie believes that connecting with patients and being part of their health and smile transformation journey is the most rewarding part of her role. Whether it is chairside or in the theatre room, Sophie loves assisting and learning from Dr Hillel New and having a positive impact on patient experiences. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, shopping, having fun with her friends and traveling back to regional Victoria to visit her family.

Laksith

Dental Assistant

Laksith is originally from Brighton, United Kingdom. He graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2015. Laksith has several years of experience working in dental fields and appreciates the opportunity it gives him to meet and communicate with a variety of wonderful people every day. He takes pride in delivering a great patient experience and loves working alongside such talented and caring people at CDIC. Outside of work, Laksith is a keen traveller and adrenaline seeker. He has spent time in Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Australia, and is always planning for his next adventure.

Claudia

Dental Assistant

Claudia is a Dental Assistant who originally completed her dentistry training in Paraguay. With an understanding that confidence often goes hand-in-hand with one’s smile, Claudia was drawn to a career in dentistry and the desire to help people with their confidence and dental health. She is passionate about continued learning and enjoys being part of the CDIC team. In her personal time, Claudia loves to travel, keep active, cook and catch up with friends.
